The #StreamTeam knows what's up.

It's up to 14 hours of gaming streams daily with 20 regular hosts, tons of giveaways, contests and raffles, frequent appearances from special guests, creative streams, and - of course - 100% DRM-free games.

Our schedule: Check out the all-new schedule (via teamup), where you'll find a listing of all the shows and titles that we've got planned - or read through our regular show lineup below.

GOG.com code raffles: On (almost) every stream, we raffle off (at least) one GOG.com game code worth $5.99 or $9.99 that you can use on any game from our selection that has a base price of up to the code's value. Watch our streams, and when the host announces a raffle has opened, type the appropriate command - maybe you'll be the lucky one!

Please note - you have to follow Twitch.tv/GOGcom to be eligible for an on-stream raffle victory. The GOG.com code will be delivered to you via Twitch chat as soon as possible after confirming your victory.

Scroll past the streaming widget for a listing of all shows you can expect throughout the week!

OK, due to today releases and promos: who's gonna play what and when today and this week-end?
For today, Friday:

2 PM GMT - STREAMER PROMO Dreamfall: the Longest Journes with Outstar
4 PM GMT - STREAMER PROMO Dungeon Keeper 2 with Memoriesin8Bit
6 PM GMT - STREAMER PROMO Creatures Exdodus with Piranjade
8 PM GMT - STREAMER PROMO Wacky Wheels with Flaose
10 PM GMT - STREAMER PROMO/RELEASE STREAM Chantelise with Reitanna
12 AM GMT - MAYHEM IN 'MURICA Saints Row The Third with Pantsless Shorts
Damn it, Reitanna so late... of well. And I'm a bit sad it's not Recettear but Chantelise is also good. :D

outstarwalker: Schefule for today (including past streams):

8 PM GMT - Mushroom 11 with Screaming Joypad
10 PM GMT - Wild Card (TBC)
00 AM GMT - The Age of Decadence with Pantsless Shorts
This may be a silly question,
but as you've said you don't get payed yet have support from the Gog Team - I assume you don't pay for the games, right?

Also regarding the upload to a central backup location, do you have control over all previously hosted streams, or is the permission on a streamer only basis (thus not all streams can be accessesd for backup at all times)?
If you do have full access, I believe there should be tools for automating the process, at least for safe keeping on Gog's servers until uploaded (even if it may be at a later time), and links to these may be part of the twitch overlay you mentioned?
With such a packed schedule it would be a shame to miss some of the content as soon as before the new year :/

We do not have admin access. So the only persons who can archive streams are GoG employees (who can't do it due to time constraints) and the streamers themselves. So if you include upload times and the need to edit for youtube it's unlikely that we will see full archives any time soon.
First, I'd love to have all streams permanently archived to a Youtube account.

Now about the technical solutions to go about it, there are 2 big approaches:
1. write scripts that download the VODs, merge the multiple parts in a single video (VODs are split per ~30 minute parts) and uploads them to Youtube or
2. have all streamers use a base OBS profile that saves a copy of their stream to a local file, setup a special upload server where they can upload the stream copy in the background after the stream is done and then someone else would take care to download them from the upload server, merge them as needed and upload to Youtube

#1 has the advantage of being a solution that requires no input from the streamers, no additional upload bandwidth but it requires some non-trivial technical work (because we need to automate it as much as possible, it wouldn't work out to have someone spend hours each day do all that manually, for no money). Also, it may go against the Twitch TOS as downloading videos means you cut from their potential ad revenue of people watching it on their site and may actually run into real trouble because of that (I suspect that Twitch will simply ban the IP address of a machine that starts downloading 6+ hours of Twitch VOD content daily).

#2 requires streamers to follow certain steps (not very hard but still mistakes will be made) and there will still be some non-trivial amount of work needed to develop the scripts to automate uploading to Youtube from the upload server that stores the streamer saved copies. This solution however wouldn't depend on Twitch at all and thus not run into any issues with Twitch (legal or technical). Also, this solution doesn't address any streams already done, it only handles future streams.

Ideally we probably would want both, #2 to be used regularly with #1 occasionally when for some reason a stream wasn't uploaded by method #2. Either way I don't think it makes sense to expect the volunteer based #streamteam to implement something like this but it could be done if, say, a GOG software developer were to work on it.
There would still be the matter of cutting the VODs properly, meaning to get rid of the music at the start and the end because it is just not something you want in a youtube video (people don't want to wait two minutes for the real content to start).

All streamers receive games for free, yes. And I personally work part-time for GOG.com as a coordinator for the team.

Unfortunately, the only two options of having stream archive running is either giving more volounteer work to streamers (and as we all can see they are working hard even on what we do rght now; giving them more obligatory work to do wouldn't be OK!) or using GOG.com staff for that, while all of their employees have tons of other work to do.

We decided that what we can do is exporting special streams and highlight reels to our newly made YouTube channel. Here's the first highlight reel for you, prepared by lovely Memoriesin8bit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhjqpEKxXWY

Enjoy :)
For those who are searching for the today's schedule:
6PM GMT - Vlad streaming Metro 2033 Redux
8PM GMT - Oustar streaming Recettear
10PM GMT - Memoriesin8bit streaming Rebel Galaxy.

After that should be ArvanEleron stream, but for now I don't know what he'll be streaming. E__A, a little help? :D
I personally archive all of my streams... but it is hard to find the time to upload them all to my own channel. As it stands, I have almost 420GB of streams stored that I have yet to upload! haha. Will probably get around to queuing then up one day, and then them upload for a week!

As for the Saturday live Video Game Music streams, I usually upload these the week after the stream, and have been doing this.
More power to your elbow, Mat; these creative streams by Outstar & yourself are inspiring.
One addition to today's schedule: between Piranjade's Ultima and Pie's Gender Bender, there will be ScreamingJoypad with Crypt of the Necrodancer. Also, Classicor will play Two Worlds II.

Also TIMES ARE WRONG, AS TIMES CHANGED LAST NIGHT! :) Because of European time change, those of you who come from Europe (or had time change yesterday) will have streams at the same hours as usual. However, those from US (or other peeps who change time next week) have to add +1 hour to every stream time.

We will make this up to you by making few 3 hours streams instead of sticking to 2 hours.

So, in GMT, today streams happen at:

5-7 - Classicor with Two Worlds II
7-9 - Piranjade with Ultima Underworld
9-10 - ScreamingJoypad with Crypt of the Necrodancer
10-12 - Pie with Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender

Arvan will stream 3 hours tomorrow? Great!
So, do any of the current streamers intend to tackle one of the Falcon games? Or is that series not considered good streaming material? I could see how that might be true...
