I don't visit gog all that often, so maybe this has been explained before, but I cannot find any forum thread from before 2015. In particular, before 19 January 2015. What gives?

You can't.
The only way for a thread to be deleted is if it's reported as spam by multiple users.

You can do it by asking one of the staff, such as sending this guy a PM.
But not before giving ME the answer! Eh? Eh?

I imagine it's to do with whatever bug makes the question bit show beneath the second post as well as the first, which possibly makes it impossible to mark the second post as an answer...
