It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Whenever I open the GOG downloader page the download buttons are half hidden.

I have this issue on every PC or laptop that I use. It also happens regardless of the browser I use; Firefox, Chrome, Explorer etc.

I have tried zooming, but that doesn't work.

I have attached an image of the problem.

If anyone knows how to solve this I would appreciate it.

GOG Downloader hasn't been supported for a good while now, and no effort whatsoever has been put into anything relating to it. You're lucky the page is up at all. Of course, removing the page would require a small bit of effort, so that's probably why.

My guess is it will be taken down soonish, just before or on the day Galaxy 2.0 releases.
The page doesn't display correctly but you can still click on the buttons to download the downloader, which is really all you need to do on that page.

I'm still using the downloader with Windows 7 and it still works fine for me.
Font size of "The fastest and..." is too large, the text doesn't fit next to the image, wraps to new lines and pushes buttons down.

Does that mean that I will have to use the browser to download the install files, or do you think Galaxy 2.0 will also have this feature?

Every Galaxy Version can download the Installers, even the older ones ;)

The GOG downloader page alone or the GOG downloader aswell ?

Soon, GOG downloader will be gone completely , since it's hardly used by anyone it would be logical to remove them, however.... Galaxy 2.0 client will be used as a default soon, maybe 2020 at earliest, but before 2025 Galaxy will be required and be the only way to get the games/patches/downloads whatever, slowly it will take it's place and soon everyone will be used to it... :D

Anyway, if that would be the case, why wait , just make it a default, and needed tool to access the games and site :D
makes life so much easier for the developers, no more webpages that dont show properly, no more hours spend to fix webpages, saving valuble time, no more issues because cookies arent enable, users are in safe mode, or have adblockers.

The (.exe) tool will solve all, thats why Steam has it for years and apart from the spying Steam does when you give the client full acess like collecting hardware info, dx logs, user logs, and network names....

a client or apps as they call them on mobile will run everywhere.... so Galaxy 2.0 ( or later versions) will be default way to access the site and no one will have problems anymore.
