Then again ILM made special effects for Star Trek First Contact and there was the Millenium Falcon in that... dammit, I had a point and I lost it.
toxicTom: LOL.. but I think it's a difference anyway. ILM is for the most part - a professional contractor for most things - they will produce shit of they are required to. Platique is a lot deeper into the thing - don't underestimate Polish national pride - before they betray "Their Geralt" they would rather quit the project (like sadly, but predictably grumpy old man Sapkowki did already).
I never said anything about
"betrayal", I just mean that the show isn't associated with the games, so it's not going to follow those stories, isn't obliged to fit with whatever those games establish or with their visual style or character designs. A lot of people associated The Witcher with the games first (or only with the games) so they tend to have the wrong idea about the upcoming show.
