The best comic series in a long time. I just started reading it last night and now I'm on Issue #12, and I'm really enjoying this a lot. The premise is simple (yet very deep): If you could get away with it, would you kill the person who wronged you, and ruined your life?
There's a site where you can read it for free (by billing themselves as a library it's technically legal) but I won't post it here, you can flex your Google muscles and find it yourselves.

Maybe you should have not told us about it and we could have flexed out mental muscles and read your mind/ ;-)
I tried to read 100 Bullets, but I just couldn't get into it. The characters were unlikeable, and the author's attempts at writing "ethnic" characters just came across as caricatures.
As for the website you mentioned (but didn't link to, so that makes it all perfectly fine): At best, it is about as legal as an abandonware site or a warez site that has one of those "If you are going to sue us, you aren't allowed to click continue" pages. In other words: not very :p

100 Bullets is one of my favorite comics out there, right below All Star Superman. The characters where despicable yes, after all they are supposed to be the scum of the earth that keep everything in order. How far did you get?

I'm glad you're liking it, and I genuinely think it does get better as you go along.

I think I got to halfway through the arc right after the one where the guy is framed as a pedo.
And the problem is: to care about what happens to people, it helps to actually like them, or be able to like aspects of them. THAT is why so few stories are about the villains. Every single character there, I just didn't care about. And I figure, rather than try to force feed something that is supposed to be "good" down my throat, I could just read the stuff that I actually DO find good :p

I agree with that, if you're not enjoying it why submit yourself to it? It just wasn't your cup of tea. And there is no denying your problems with the comic, all the characters are disgusting, from Lono to everyone in The Trust. The closest thing to a nice character was Mr. Shepherd or the fat reporter (and that's quite a stretch).
Green Lantern is the best series ever.
I'm a bit confused. Wasn't this supposed to also be a PS2 game? I'm pretty sure I read something about this in an OLD Game Informer Magazine.

That got canned. The game was supposed to be based on the comic.

Well, now I know. And knowing is half the battle....

I enjoyed the comic purely because everyone were assholes, and that there is not right or wrong here, just very blurred moral choices.

Yeah me too, that everybody was a douche was kind of what I liked as well. Later on you don't like them in spite of how big assholes they are, but because they are assholes.
While we're on comics, here's a blatant advertisement for my comic site: http://cowboysandwaiters.wordpress.com/
I'm not going to gush about the book because it's already won enough Eisner awards (among others) to not need my plaudits.
What I can say is that this is my favorite comic book outside of Maus and Walking Dead.
When people ask me if Comics can be artful and poignant I sent them a copy of First Shot Last Call or Maus.
