that's... a lot. i didn't even know there is that many mmo accounts out there.
i guess 90%+ is chinese and korean mmorpgs.
They didn't mentioned where the bulk of those 44 millions come from. They didn't provide a percentage or a ratio for specific games or regions. Could be a real threat or chances could be about the same as winning in the lottery.
As it stands, it pretty much looks like an on purpose overblown advertising, trying to generate interest for there security products.

Well, 60 thousand were reportedly from Aion, and that's Korean, it could also mean NC Soft security was breached, which could mean some from several other MMO's they published, notably Guild Wars.
You want security? Disconnect the Interwebs when you play YOUR games off-line and ban MMOs from your life... For the most part they are a waste of your time and won't be around for when they will be old as much as being worth of the title "good old games").
That's just a good security practice, indeed :-P
