Would Magicka work for her? I would add on with Recettear, but man, so few games mix 'sexy' with 'cute'.
She's really very particular about what she wants >_<

She wanted Enchanted Arms for the PS3, took me ages to track down a copy, she's played it like twice >_<

Keep the ideas a coming, I'll let her see the list from this, see how it goes.
Dragon Knight Saga? Beautiful game, but no teammates.
Or maybe Overlord - good humor there.

What games did she like, if any? ;)

She liked Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria on PS2, she likes pokemon, kinda liked Dragon Quest Joker, I tried to get her playing the witcher... she complained about it being basically nerd porn xD NWN she didn't really like because she's a bit impatient and didn't like tutorial text... she's not easy to buy for >_<

Wishbone: Not true. There are plenty of goths here in Denmark. Even more emos, which are sort of "goth light".
avatar
JudasIscariot: You mean "doom cookies" ?
I always just called them "Spice Goths"...
avatar
Taleroth: It's heavily German.
Wait, what? How is the Goth culture “heavily German”?
Kingdom Hearts is pretty damned cutesy, and that kid... well, with Haley Joel voicing him you can pass him off as a girl.

Uhhh, Disgaea for PS2 is sorta cutesy, but it's more akin to Final Fantasy Tactics.

Demut: Wait, what? How is the Goth culture “heavily German”?
Over here i would say they are more heavily Nazi than heavily German. The Hitler youth haircuts, the drawing swastikas on everything and what have you, or at least they were when i was in high school.

As for a recommendation maybe Fable 3.
Any of the Final Fantasy games on PC? I really got no ideas...
avatar
Taleroth: I really don't know how to answer that. It's like being asked what's so "blue" about the sky. All I can think to do is point at it and repeat myself.

KavazovAngel: Well, there is absolutely nothing "goth" about the game. But I'm not from the US, so I don't know what "goth" precisely means (I know is a piece of shit term invented by the cool kids, and has something to do with black colors and metal and deaths and stuff, but only in the US you can be a "goth").

LOL!

Sorry for the little rant. :D But that term is one of the most idiotic ones that came out of your society (in the same league as "gansta" and similar crap).

Anyway, there is nothing "goth" in the game.
I bet that this is what we call fake emo-kids here in Sweden. ;)
You usually find them at McDonalds or train stations. They are faking that they are suicidal to get attention and strangely they seem to be attracted to stairs(?!).

Goth-people is usually ones that grew up during the 80's and are highly independent, intelligent and most of all well educated and philosophical.
+1 to Aveyond recommendation above.
Another Aveyond recommendation. The game had too much grinding for my tastes but it seemed to be made with the female gamer in mind by the tone/character design and what not.

She could also try Terraria because that game actually reminds me of Dragon Quest graphically speaking. The game is hard to classify under 1 genre but its an RPG/Platformer/Brick Builder.

acemarch: Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep 'em coming if you think of any more, I'll see if theres anything she likes, showed her Raceattear, she said it'd be perfect if the characters were sexier >_< women.....
Septerra Core has a sexy(?) girl as the main character, and it's a western RPG in the style of JRPGs. Could be worse. I'd classify it as approximately 2/3rds Dragon Quest-y on my totally arbitrary scale. Recommended earlier, but just bumping it.

Shadow Hearts and especially Shadow Hearts 2 for PS2. It's not the sexiest (though the second is moreso) but it's a ridiculously good pair of games that too few people have played. Not at all as light as Dragon Quest, but just awesome. In fact, if you haven't played it and have a PS2, try to find a copy for yourself ^_^.

Disgaea. If you play through it once for her you can unlock Etna mode so she can play through the game as a deeply funny devilgirl. This isn't as Dragon Quest-y, and is heavier on the tactical battle part, but it's got some exploring and good characters. Also recommended earlier.

Some of the other suggestions before my post are very good, so not going to repeat those, except to re-re-recommend Aveyond.
lol guys, goths are like everyone else. They merely dress differently to try to bring attention to themsleves and show everyone they are different, rebels. Most that I knew back in the day were fine people, and hardly any were skin heads at all, though a few were. What most had in common I would say is a bleaker outlook on life, as if their dreams had been crushed far too early in life. Some were angry, a lot sad, but, all of them were not really that much different than any one else once I got to know them. The black, be it clothes, makeup, or speech, is sort of a cover I think, to hide a troubled life, and to fit in with a group that will accept them, and help them feel more comfortable letting go of their inner barriers.
Goths are like every group of adolecents: young adults, trying to understand their place in life, and feel affirmed by those around them in their belifes. If taken out of their group, like all others, it becomes obvious that they are really, on the whole, no different than any other adolecent out there.
Sorry for going on, but, I think people forget that to understand a person one must look soley at them, and not at every one they hang around...Take people one at a time, there is good, bad, and just plain weird in every group. Try not to judge people soley on looks and group behavior, for that is not who they really are underneathe it all.
Okay, I rambled sorry :/ as far as games for your girl, I have no idea, sounds like she's a might too picky. Are you sure she even likes games all that much? (sacralidge I know. :D)

EDIT: On second thought, Mount and Blade Warband is a fun game and you can play as a female and its an RPG, okay so the characters aren't cute and cuddily, but, I know of plenty of girls that play that game and enjoy it....maybe its worth looking into.
Oh, and if you want to try it before you buy it, you can at the developers homepage:

Considered suggesting that as a joke, because it's really not very cute at all. Not very sexy either. *Shrug*

"Sexy" is a realitve term my friend! That game makes me so hot! ;-p
Really, though you are right, it sounds like this girl may still want to play with barbies instead of games...however, it really is a fun game and addictive too. If her boyfriend hasn't played it, maybe he'll end up liking it at least. =)
