Sounds interesting. But I have to admit I never liked how the characters looked in Maniac Mansion and it always bothered me. So while I hope it becomes a great game I have to admit that I would not buy it, since I don't like what I see on the pictures. I would have been for more power to "cute" Tentacles ;-)

I like how the the $25 tier is, "I pirated Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island when I was a kid and I feel bad!"

I never played Monkey Island, but I still have Maniac Mansion on my DotT CD, thank you very much. :p

I'm not really fond of all these "retro pixel" games, they never seem to be quite authentic. That said, this looks pretty neat regardless. I might pick it up if it lives up to the Maniac Mansion legacy.

This is the first kickstarter I've been tempted to back.
Having the classic Lucasarts adventures re-released here on gog is awesome no doubt.
But, getting a brand new "classic" adventure game is awesome too!
I don't know if I'll be backing it but I'll definitely be buying it when it comes out.

Contemplating to go for 50$ to get my daughters name (and vm) to the phone-book, but there are already 1500 people that had similar thoughts. Knowing for past experience it is a drag to comb trough a name in such credits.
