One day, I'm gonna buy a hamster. It's better than cats. It is !

JudasIscariot: My cat used to be my alarm clock, I'd just think at her "I need to be up at 6 AM" and she'd wake me up right on the dot. Freaking weird, I tell you :D

She was a free range cat sort of, meaning there were always kibbles in a bowl somewhere :P Dry ones, of course :D

OK, well that is a bit odd then.

Kind of reminds me of that white cat my parents had when I was a kid. One of those white puffball cats, but could usually catch the odd bird or squirrel without too much trouble. Still not sure how such a poorly camoflaged cat could do it though.
Xyem, I don't think you need to worry about a giveaway this week.

Take time to heal. Some people may not understand, but I definitely do, my cat is part of my family. Heal up, we'll still be here when you get back.

:-(

So sorry, Xyem....

I've lost way too many beloved pets and when my last fuzzy creature is gone we probably won't be getting another one - which makes me sad. He's a bad-natured beast that loves my husband so much that he can't even take the garbage out without the beast whining 'Where is he!!!". You'd never know that I was the one who saved his life!

But OMG, those black eyes and that funny, fuzzy face get me every time I see him and each time he gets sick I think, well this is it - the last fuzzy creature of my life and how much he makes me smile every damned day... I don't know why having these so-called "tame" creatures make our lives so much better but they do...and when their short lives catch us, the grief is as great as losing a human. Friends are friends no matter their species....
RIP Diego! Sorry to hear that...
Sorry to hear of your loss of Diego xyem. I can certainly understand the loss of a beloved family member no matter the species. I have two lovely cats of my own and have recently started to worry a little bit as they both hit 7 years old and are no longer younglings. I hope to have years ahead, but I know we aren't always that lucky.

I hope Phoebe and you all can heal and cherish the memories without as much sadness in the days ahead.
