My most fave game of all time was Zelda; not the 64/3-D type, but the ones on the old Nintendo and on GameBoy Advance SP. I like the drawn graphics and the 3/4 view. Anyone know of any games in the catalog here that would be similar?? Thanks for any replies!

I really should be studying...but Guardian of Paradise by a Japanese developer named Buster should do some things. There's a translation patch by Aeon Genesis as well.

I still think Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is exactly what you are looking for if you want the old school style of Zelda games. The sequels all turned into hack and slash 3rd person games, but the original version played almost exactly like Zelda, but with vampires and exploding bodies.

I grew up playing Dink Smallwood. It's a great game, and has a few touches of dark humour. There's a great community of modders too, especially on The Dink Network.
