Tarm: I have a Swedish keyboard and I can't for the life of me find it.
Of course I've never before felt the need for making that symbol but now I want it badly!

JudasIscariot: While I may sound biased, I am not getting tired of the indie games. Don't get me wrong, I still want TONS of good old games and there are certain games I hound certain people to get them :), it's just, to me personally, a lot of these indie games kind of remind me of the old days where you had small teams working to put out a game with little to no advertising at the time without the somewhat inflated budgets like we see today :)

Besides, it wasn't for indies, I wouldn't have games like Driftmoon. That is freaking AWESOME, if I say so myself :D. I hope you're proud, Mr. Bauer :) ).
I fixed that, hope you dont mind

Darvond: Alt+0176, or just copy it in from your local character map.°°°°
That Alt combination got me suspicious that if I tried it my computer would blow up or something. ;)

Local character map? What's that? At least I could copy it from your post.

Hmm, I should have mentioned that you have to key in things like alt+130 on the number pad. It may not be the same symbols for other languages. On Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7, the program can be found under All Programs → Accessories → System Tools → Character Map in the Start Menu..

And yes, I use a Swedish keyboard (and get annoyed as fuck whenever I meet an application that thinks I want the application displayed in the language of my keyboard layout rather than my system's display language).

Can't be helped some companies would rather stay independent than be owned by a company so no
tired of them... no... tired of seeing while looking up old games... yes.

I don't have an issue on them being on this site, I just wish that there was a way to hide them from results pages when looking for games.

TheEnigmaticT: I think we did. And we've done what we can to hold to that promise; I think since then we've missed three weeks.
I hope there won't be more, because you know pinky promises are sacred, right? :P

JudasIscariot: P.S. to my GOG bros:

Where is my classic game that I don't wanna name so people don't make posts "X CONFIRMED!" ? Seriously, y'all are slacking :P
I told you, man, we can't get E.T. cause it was never released on PC!

Too many indie games, too many freaking bundles ( blame HiB,IR etc - too many bandwaggoners) results in overexposure (i really was hoping it was a temporary trend).

Too many indie games in same genre's and game mechanics ie adventures & tower defence games (cant remember who pointed it out but certain game types were lot easier to make for indie devs..)

I mean there will always be game releases, but seriously indie devs are crawling out of the woodwork and while its great for customers, im sure im not the only one with Indie Game Fatigue (for want of a better way to say it).

Digital shop X, Y,Z all get onto the indie game bandwagon selling them

No wonder the market is getting oversaturated :/

Like BreOl72 said "I like games...I like (some) old games, I like (some) recently released indie games and I like (some) recently released AAA games.".........

Johnisnotcool: Haha No I'm not a lurker. I used to check the forums every once in awhile but haven't in a long time. I'm sorry if I'm the hundredth person to bring this subject up. I did check the first page before I posted and didn't see anything close!
It is indeed more than a week that anybody didn't ask the question, but it is one of the most recurring topic on the forum, and I can't prevent myself to make snarky comments on the occasion :)

Johnisnotcool: If I really think about it my problem is GOG hasn't posted a game I got excited about buying in along time. It just seems like an endless stream of indie adventure games. I know that there has been other kinds of games and I know that everybody has their own preferences. I'm just stating mine.
True, I understand the feeling but my opinion is that my backlog is huge enough when a 'drought' of new intersting titles occur.
However, I you feel like you need a new game, ask the community about recommandations. People here are knowledgeable and apt to help you out.
