Did anyone played it and remembers it? Was it any good? Was the PC version good?
The reason I ask is because I never had the chance to play it when it was new, my PC couldn't handle jack-sh1t back then and now I can't find a copy anywhere for the PC.

The screenshots looks cool to me at least. I remember everyone said it was Resident Evil on a boat, that sounds great to me.

Played it years ago, Resident Evil on a boat describes it well, pretty fun game though.

edit:
By the way, I think you can get it on Steam.

Oh wow, I found it. I had no idea it was actually on there. Lol.
I was very interested in it back in the day but never got to play it. Three or four friends of mine played it, though, and neither one of them - most of them being RE fans - liked it.

The Steam user reviews are surprisingly positive, though. They make it appear much better than any opinions I heard when the game was still new.

I didn't know until a few minutes ago either. And apparently it's been on there for years. Dang.

It appears to be working on Windows 7/8/8.1 x86/64 as well.
When I get my paycheck I'll buy this damn game! :D

I'd preferably buy it from GOG. I thought it was published by some more obscure party or maybe a Japanese company but Steam actually cites Ubisoft as the publisher (and apparently Ubisoft was also behind the original retail release). I'm kinda shocked now that it's not here yet. :(
I'll wait for it here then. It might take some time but if I have been waiting this long I guess I can wait some more, eh?

Then again, if it's not here yet after it's been on Steam for such a long time chances are that it's not going to make it here at all. Or at least not for a few more years. I'm not gonna judge you if you buy it on Steam soon. :D

For me, it's Gog over Steam anyday. But like you said, it's been so long and there's virtually no signs of it showing up here anytime soon. I bought Shadow Warrior '13 on Steam solely because Gog lacks (lacked?) the latest update.
I did enjoy it for what it was but if i remember correctly, it came out at the same time as RE4 and, well, it was a better game.

Overall it's ok, an hybrid of Re 3 and 4 in terms of gameplay, it's kind of short (perhaps 6 hours) and there isn't too much variety of enemies and setting. Steam sales are coming next month, you can buy it for 2.5€ (or maybe 1tf key), if you enjoyed the old residen evils then you probably will enjoy CF.
It was fun. Never beat the last boss, though. Publisher is indeed Ubisoft; maybe they'll have so more releases here when Activision does.

There's only one thing that keeps me from trully liking Cold Fear: respawning enemies.

Who the F thought that was a good idea to make the ammunition scarce (you know like in a true/good survival horror) but keep respawning the bloody enemies over and over? I liked the whole idea of that game, and how it feels like the old Resident Evil games plus the perfected gameplay of RE4. But the respawning just completely puts me off.
