PortasAurora: Arakion
Arakion is a first person, group based RPG that includes extensive customization, town building and adventuring in a story driven world.

Arakion is a modern take on a classic RPG formula. You're put in control of three heroes trying to survive a world devastated by war. Adventuring in Arakion will take you across open land, into deep dungeons and even put you in control of rebuilding a desolated town.

A great evil, nearly destroying Arakion in ages past, has returned. It is up to you to create a band of heroes to fight this darkness. The game takes place on two continents floating in the sky, as well as hundreds of minor islands. Arakion has been marred by war and strife for thousands of years and the landscape is a reflection of that.

I don't think he'll get the 'developer trying to act like he's not involved' reference :O
I have backed it but could only afford the $25 pledge. Looks like my kind of rpg.

Actually no. I posted the thread because I thought he could use some help and I thought the people here would enjoy having a chance to see the game.

I wish the game I am working on had art like in Arakion.
Bump, the game got funded! It's a pity it doesn't look like multiplayer will be included unless the 35k$ stretch goal is just added content.
'nother update! Go check it out: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lavidimus/chris-taylors-arakion/posts/320514?ref=activity
Funded and done! Wow, the last days and even hours he received a lot. I'm glad the KS reached stretch goals for both MP with those game cards (even though I'm not sure what it is) and that infinity tower. :)

It reached all but one and fell short of the last by 2.5k (which can probably be made up once a Paypal is set up, or if Fates Change is released as DLC later), so it did reach most of them. So yep, congrats Chris! It was slow going for a while, but the last two weeks have been explosive!
And here's the post-funding update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lavidimus/chris-taylors-arakion/posts/323492 He said that although they didn't hit 50k, enough people said they'd donate through Paypal that he'll include the Fate Change story and tablet support anyway. He also said he'll try to maintain two or so updates per week throughout development time, which is great.
