Its available (im guessing a few hours as only downloading now). Anyone played it?. Comments? (BF3 was OK... got boring for me after a month or so after ranking to mid level....)

I've been playing in the exclusive beta.
Other than the projectile drop on tank shells being dialed up to 11 & infantry moving slower, it's really fun. The RPG had a buff so now it can actually HIT things. Guns have also had bullet drop dialed back. The skyscraper falling NEVER gets old. Although the Recon/ Engineer parties on the top of buildings gets annoying. Giving the RPG lock-on capabilities is dumb as F.

It's okay. The server search function is bugged. I you refresh the server page it fixes the "searching" problem.

I too notice recon camping on buildings. The falling skyscraper appears to be scripted? I am not able to take one down after using a tank on its foundation. I SHOULD be able to, but it won't let me. There is no actual teamwork in the BETA, just a lot of running and gunning. The Shanghai map also is not very big. I hope this is not the norm.

Planetside 2's are pretty vast. I don't see a reason for small maps in a game that boasts cityscapes in China.

The Battlefield 4 demo is very pretty. It doesn't tax my Radeon HD 7870 Core 2 GB on ultra settings at all.

Hmmmm, really? I'm getting some pretty big hits on the framerates with everything on ultra on my GTX680 (i7 CPU). I'm using the latest beta driver.

Are you on Win 8? There seems to be some huge performance improvements for Win 8 users thanks to DX11.1 features or something like that.

Overall i really enjoyed the gameplay aspect. I don't know how to explain it, but i think the gameplay feels "smoother" than BF3. Infantry combat feels much better than it did before, for some reason.

Never liked the battlelog thing on BF3. Cant even get into the BF4 beta. Have the punkbuster issue which seems unresolvable right now (yep tried reinstall etc)
