Wishbone: And why shouldn't he? He'll get paragon points for it every single time anyway. The BioWare game designers have some odd concepts of ethics ;-)

Navagon: That had to be a bug, didn't it?

Actually I don't think it was. I seems the game was designed to give you paragon points everytime you used a persuade option and renegade when you used intimidate no matter that the actual outcome was.
Awesome!!Thank you!

Well, not so much a bug as an oversight then.
Gotta love price drops! :)
Price drops FTW. Makes perfect sense for a not altogether enthusiastically received sequel, too. Might just buy this to support the honorable principle of dropping prices from cheap to dirt-cheap...
So we got two new $9.99 releases that are absolutely panned by users, and an average game reduced from $9.99 to a more sensible $5.99. Price drops FTW indeed, but I'd rather just some Good old games FTW instead, like the the site title suggests. If I recall there has already been a couple of offers on BD; looks like they're really keen to shift a few more copies of this one.
That might sound a bit harsh, but it's supposed to be a bit tongue and cheek. It's good GOG have dropped the price of this game, and I hope this becomes a trend with some other titles in the future. There are a lot of interesting titles that are priced out of being instant buys by their current pricing structure. Keeping the prices updated keeps interest in them.

Seemed odd you didn't get Renegade points after the first endorsement like that, but on the other hand, there was no conflict of interest between the stores as they all sold different stuff, so it made sense... kinda.

I don't really see why you would have got points at all for that. You're doing it for a discount after all. Equally I don't see why threatening people in some situations was in any way the wrong thing to do.

Considering ME2 spawned not one but three internet memes I think you may be right.

Oh yeah, it was funny to walk into every damn store and hear that. :D What I meant was that you got paragon points for no logical reason whatsoever. That's what I thought must have been a bug/oversight.

1. I am the very model of a scientist salariaaan
what are the other two?

I wasn't aware that was a meme. So far the three main memes are:
1. I'm Commander Shepard...
2. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL/DIRECT INTERVENTION IS NESSESARY
3. The Priize
What about Joker doing the robot?
