WHy don't I see any thread about Black Mesa now, that its ticking down with only 15 minutes left?

Steam servers are going to have a really, really hard time soon :P

on the other hand, I don't believe they made up arrangements with Valve so fast.

Same here. We know it's coming anyway, it should be way more practical.

I may also wait until they make Xen, though.

Will be downloading this as soon as I get home from work (which starts in about an hour. Yuck). I've been waiting long enough. Don't care if it's unfinished, I want to prove to myself that the damn thing really exists.

That might work - all of the mirrors on the "download manager" page are overloaded.

EDIT: Getting about 340KB/s.. will know if that was a real download or not in about 2 hours :|

Gee, didn't see this coming. Anyone actually managed to start the download yet?

I'm trying to get the torrent, but I can't get to it, seems like gameupdates.org is broken (and that's where the torrent is apparently hosted).
