12 new races, new stadium and it looks like we get updated graphics too, if they are going to fix singleplayer and the skill related bugs i might buy the boxed version again.
April the first is a bad day to annouce a new game and if it is an april fools joke its a terrible one.
"Blood Bowl fans will thus find all their favourite races from the original board game. Undeads, Amazons, Ogres and 9 other races enter Blood Bowl's tournaments. All 20 races have their personal style, tactics and unique skills which give each game a diversity rarely seen in a strategy game. "
That IS a cruel joke, its like the game they originally promised and nothing like the game they released.
Been waiting on an AI fix (and a sale) to pick this up. But that seems to be the one thing the devs have no interest in.
There were yetis in Bloodbowl??? I don't remember that...

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't remember any Yetis...
"Yetis" are additions to the Norse team in the latest official ruleset.
Otherwise. Meh. Fumbbl.com is doing bloodbowl (and rule enforcement/community/online play so much better). Ye, no fancy graphics, but ...
Cool @ Blood Bowl re-release w/ more content.
But what those who bought Blood Bowl already? Will they be able to buy an expansion pack box just to get the new content? Or what?

Quoting RockPaperShotgun:
Basically, it appears to be an expandalone expansion to the game – and while it’s possible they’ll do an reduced price upgrade or even a Witcher-esque free thing, I suspect you’ll have to pay full-whack for what it offers

They've basically screwed everyone systematically by releasing a shit initial product missing key features such as more than one AI gameplay strategy, using dice cheating as a difficulty level modifier, making a few critically bugged handheld versions that were so bad they needed a recall and then charging the 360 owners of the already nerfed edition (no MP leagues, no customisation) for the free dark elf addon.
Then they turn around and release this fancy new edition that once again promises to do everything the original edition was supposed to and all you have to do is take a chance on giving them the money for a game AGAIN.
Yeah, fuck em, I'll keep my blood bowl in the physical universe where it belongs

Not to mention that they used a version of SecuRom with limited activations and a checksum on the executable. Which has prevented any sort of community patches. The short version is that the game was a nice idea, but Cyanide's business practices suck. Bad.
This is from someone who really wanted to like the game (I was an avid player of the board game and once won a tournament, though I now haven't played in years).
Really not interested. As has been said they have treated their customers like shit and I am just glad I didn't buy the previous version as this looks like the final complete version that should have been released in the first place. It would have to be really cheap in a Steam sale for me to pick it up.
