A very long time ago an aunt of mine had some pc magazine and with it came a cd with demos for several games, one of them was an adventure game that I played over and over again and loved it. But I was just a kid and the computer wasn't mine so I never had the full game and eventually forgot it's name so wasn't able to track it down when I got mine.

So today I was browsing through the games here and I found Broken Sword 2 and, by one of the pictures on the page, I swear to god this is it! This is the game! At least I think it is, that little shack with the trapdoor and the fence next to it sure rings a bell, but everything looks different, this is a remastered version; and everywhere else in the internet all I find is this remastered version. Does someone know where I could find a video, or maybe pictures, of the original version running so I can find out for sure if this is the game i played and have been looking for?
A footage of the PlayStation version (should be the same as the PC version).

Thanks! It is definitely the game I've been looking for, I remember everything that happens in that section. I was having problems because for some reason I remember playing the game in black and white, maybe my aunt's computer couldn't run it properly. Or maybe I'm just starting to remember my childhood in general in black an white.

Now that we got that out of the way, allow me to direct you to the best game you've never heard of:

It's just 5.99$, and I assure you you're gonna love it, no matter what your tastes in gaming are.

Glad I could help you to be sure this is the game you remembered. ^^ You should try the first Broken Sword too. It's great as well.

But you know that GOG is selling both remastered and original versions?

Well, to be accurate the original version is a freebie with the purchase of the remastered edition...

Or is that the other way around?

That's pretty odd... because I don't think they actually changed any graphics in the Remaster.

Like I said in a previous post, I distinctively remember playing the game in black and white with maybe a few things, like your inventory, in color. So seeing the same scene I knew completely in color felt very strange to me, that's why I couldn't recognize it for sure and just assumed it was part of the remastered version. But knowing the original is the same, now I figure it was probably a problem with the demo I was playing or the computer it was running on.

That's also the reason why I never found the game before, I kept looking for games in black and white but all I'd find was Peter Molyneux's Black and White, and that game is not even in black and white!
Olá DaCostaBR! You also have available here in GOG Broken Sword 2, 3 and 4!
