Im not as experienced in buying stuff as you guys, so i wanted to know your opinion . What is the best headset that fits into 40$ range?

Sennheiser. I've had a few sets over the years. Sennheiser isn't the best, but they're pretty good and affordable. Good middle of the road brand.

I've been using a Sennheiser HD205 for a year and a half. It's within your price range and has been satisfying so far.

Sony MDR V6, all a man could ever need

Here's the thing, some years ago i bought Sennheiser PC 350 for around 100€ and i was amazing, but a few months later it lost the sound from one of the sides (it was my fault because the cable ended up stuck and sometimes i pulled it accidently )and the warranty was gone. After that, i went for something more cheaper and bought a Siberia V2, again, it lost sound from one of the sides, sent it back to Amazon and got a new ones (and Amazon was amazing since i didn't even needed to send mine first), but it didn't matter because a few months later and again it lost the sound from one of sides (and in both times it wasn't my fault since i learned my lesson with the Sennheiser).

I decided to stop wasting those amounts of money in headsets, i've bought a cheap pair of Sennheiser HD 202, they're cheap, great sound and confortable, as for the mic i bought it separately (Zalman Zm-Mic1), it picks up your voice clearly but it also picks up other sounds (the keyboard, fan, etc).

Dunno, i feel that a headset is a waste of money and the better ones are expensive, my friends bought one of those cheap headsets (can't remember the brand but it cost something around 40€) and it's annoying to be on a call with him because it has alot of noise and he has to lower his volume so the noise becomes bearable
