It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Greetings,

I have been trying to buy some games recently and Republic:The Revolution is in my cart. I have tried removing it but I get an error. I have deleted my cookies, still won't work. Logged out and back in, still won't work. This is my second distasteful experience with GoG. Besides the customer service not responding to my ticket, it's making it very difficult for me to justify spending money here. I really want to but come on. Please offer some suggestions that can get this rectified besides sending in a support ticket, as that didn't pan out well last time.

Thank you

Tried. Won't work
Clearing cookies should definitely do it. Make sure that if you've got any content blockers that they have GOG white listed.

Alternatively just try using another browser.

Uh, that's odd. It appears that the game is no longer on GOG. Maybe that's why you can't remove it - it's no longer there to be removed. Very odd.

If that's the reason behind this anomaly then getting support to help you (difficult, I know) is the only way.

I have tried Chrome, Mozilla, and Safari. Same result. I think what happened was that I added Republic before it had been removed from the store and now, for whatever reason its stuck in my cart.
Edit: ninja'd

So what is the error? what does it say, and are there any other details?

It says 'Whoops: There was some kind of error :( '
I suspect we will get Mr T post soon saying licensing issues have occurred.

It seems that GOG have gone with the unfortunate (in this case at least) choice of a server side cart.

So yeah, they need to sort that out for you somehow. Hopefully this thread will get the attention that your ticket did not.
Thanks guys! Too bad support isn't as helpful as you guys have been.
I thought the cart was tied to LSO Flash Cookies.... they would jump browsers and they last forever with no expiration date...

But didn't Firefox just kill that? there's been a lot of movement on the <edit> say no to </> flash cookie front.

that's why
its not set by default.... you would need to config them to clear on close... i use Albine so it kills everything from Silverlight to Flash to old fashioned cookie cookies :)
