Capcom has relinquished the absurd DRM they had planned for the PC version of SS4:AE and now, thankfully, will launch an update that will remove the silly need to be constantly online when wanting to use the full roster.
Obviously Microsoft SSA (and maybe ZDP) still stands. So GoGers irritated by it still may object to a purchase of the game. ZDPP is zero day piracy protection, which means a one time activation for the game on it's release day. There were some serious problems with it during the Dead rising 2 launch, but it seems to be working now.
Though some sort of DRM still exsists, thank God the severity of it is well toned down.I'd rather not deal with another other uber DRM for a long long while. It was on my 'never to fucking buy list', but now I'll be picking it up after the patch is released which should be shortly after launch.
