Further proof as to why CD Projekt, and by extension, GOG.com are so great.

And further proof why I'll keep on buying here and I'll rush on The Witcher 2 when it will be released.

While I do agree with that and it further cements my love of CD Projekt, I also feel the need to point a few things out:
Point 1: That is metaphorical smoke up our butts. Nice smoke that seems to have worked with GoG and the like, but still smoke.
Point 2 (- through -): All that says is that activation model DRM won't be used without online content. Technically, Dragon Age and ME2 follow this model. As does Team Fortress 2 and any MP game on Steam. Hell, SC: Conviction follows this model (and that uses Ubi-DRM :p) because the MP component counts as "normal use".
Point 2 d: Again, I like this, but it allows for things like Starforce.
Point 3: That is true of pretty much every game ever released.
Don't get me wrong, I like this and have no problem with these. But some of the more militantly anti-DRM people should definitely make sure they understand what that is saying (or, more importantly, how little it is saying).
Now, what does this tell us:
The Witcher 2 probably won't have Ubi-DRM. I think we can count that under "connections for normal use"
It won't use the more blatantly limited activation-based models (Securom, Tages, etc)
It might use Steam (or something similar) if it is tied around DLC.
All in all: Me likey.
