Anyone try this to make cheap coffee less acidic in your stomach?
I'd be afraid of rocketing through the kitchen like a Diet Coke bottle that had a roll of Mentos dropped in.
Some people on Lifehacker say it works, it does change the taste though.
Why not just buy better coffee, or not drink it at all?

Not an option. Never, never an option. 8)
Cold "brewed" coffee is supposedly easier on the stomach as well and sounds a lot less yucky. But maybe thats just one of those things that exists only on the internet, haven't tried either.

Ginger biscuits are a better option
Isn't the stomach already way more acidic than coffee?

I would've thought almost any drink would serve to dilute the acid in your stomach. Then again, I'm just guessing.

try recycling old condoms by turning them inside out and reusing them - much savings , cash wow

That reminds me, I need to start doing cold brew again, it's especially good during the summer in iced coffees.

It's also worth noting that the type of bean and the way it's processed does have some impact.
Not drinking it on an empty stomach helps, though personally I never follow through with this.
