exitplanetdust: How can I contact a moderator to modify a topic?

I have a problem with a topic. It seems I cannot add any more string with url tag.
If I modify the topic adding a new url string, when I submit my modification, the string completely disappears.

This is the topic: http://www.gog.com/forum/inquisitor/fully_detailed_maps_spoilers/page1
I think there's a limit to the URLs one may post. I am not 100% sure on that but I wouldn't be surprised. I'll see if I can't get a more definite answer tomorrow :)

@tinyE: if you shoot me, who'll answer my PMs? :D
I believe there's a character limit for posts as well, although unless they've lowered it your post should not have triggered it. Hm. Let's see what Mr. Judas finds out.

exitplanetdust: Ok. If there is such a limit, a solution could be to add 2 posts (I can edit) after my open-post.
I would divide the content of the first one in the two sequent ones.
Could you Judas do this for me, please?

If you cannot do this directly, I could add 2 empty posts in queue in the current thread page... maybe you could move those after the open-post.
I can only remove posts as moving them around is way beyond my capabilities. I can recommend that you make new posts within that thread and just link to them, if possible, in the OP.

I am still waiting to find out about any sort of limits but I am not sure when I'll get that info :)

Wishbone: Yes, that is exactly what I mean. The OP is post#1. You want to have two empty posts moved to lie immediately after it as posts #2 and #3. However, posts #2 and #3 already exist. Given that the post number is most likely part of a combined unique key in the database table holding the posts, you can't simply shoehorn two posts in between #1 and #2, without changing the numbering of all the other posts in the thread. The database won't allow it.

exitplanetdust: I was a moderator of a forum, and I'm almost sure that forum offered the possibility to move posts inside a thread.
I thought it was a common function, but evidently it is not so.

In this case, Judas, could you remove post #2, post #3 and post #5?
I know it would not be a correct behaviour toward the authors of those posts, but if you read them you will realize that those posts lost any interest, since they referred to thread initial questions.
I can remove them, sure, but you still won't be able to slide in one of your own posts in the manner you describe :)

exitplanetdust: Evidently, I'm not good explaining my self.
I'm sorry.

Actually, I had no intention to "slide" anything.

I'm going to recap the work-around procedure I've got in my mind.
If you delete those "intermediate" posts, my thread will begin with three posts of mine (that is editable posts).
At that point, I will take the OP code, divide this original long code in three sections, leave the first section in the first post (the Opening Post), cut&paste the second section in the second post and the third section in the third post. Through this expedient, surely I won't have a long complete OP, however, my thread will start with all its content in its first page. In other words, I will have a "composite" OP, through three posts, instead of a single OP of a single post.
OK, have fun :) Posts removed at OP's request.
