well beta started today.
someone warned me that this game was allot like Vindictus, and it is .... but it's hard to tell what came first; the chicken or the egg.
Vindictus is prettier and has a better engine, but I'm pretty sure C9 was shipped (in Korean) first.
the games are pretty identical on a fundamental level: no fields, just instanced levels you clear with your party, while towns are mostly just hubs.
theirs even the same slo-mo sequence when you kill a boss at the end of a level ...
all in all however, C9 may be some what more low quality than Vindictus but it feels like more of a complete game. it's like if you took the mechanics from vindictus, then put them in a regular MMO ... I'm pretty god damned sure that Vindictus was the one that mooched from this game, it's just that Nexon was quicker to bring it to market over here.
