Finally got a copy of the game, and after huge time getting the right performance on my comp(crappy comp, not having enough RAM,hurrdurr) I can't get past a certain sequence:
I'm at the 2nd flashback of the diver of chapter 3, I did cut the pipe, and a big current drag me, now I can see a zombie (or whatever it is) hitting my suit with an axe till he brakes the glass. The thing is that I have to pick up the axe and help my friend who gets attacked by the zombie.
But there is no AXE! Fucking bugs!
I lurked alittle and it turns out that my save got corrupted. I need a new one. If someone has a save of chapter 3 before or after this sequence, it would be really appreciated!

If no one has something at chapter 3 you could use this, its a save game that will unlock all the levels. Make sure to virus scan before using it though.
I actually still have this installed on my old machine. I had autosaves on CH3, so i made a couple of manual saves, one a while before that bit and one a while after that bit. I can't tell which saves are which when looking at the individual files in the folder so i'm uploading all the saves i have in the save folder to media fire, i think if you drop them all in your save folder it will be easy to spot the saves you're after from within the game. Backup the saves you have now first thouhg, just in case.
Give me a minute and i'll post the media fire link.
Edit: link. It's inside a 7zip archive, just unzip with 7zip.

I wish I could be or more use, but I tend not to keep the saves once I've completed a game, sorry.
Are you sure you don't have anything you could use? No autosaves or anything like that?
I finished this game and haven't enountered a single bug...incredible experience. Wish I could help.

Tried, the game shut down. Now my old saves didn't work either. I reinstalled the whole game with patch and replay it again.
Why are 1C-games so goddamn shitty? Vivisector in the plot, You are empty in the gameplay and voice acting, and now this bugged piece of crap... meh.

So, the saves didn't help at all ? I'm sorry to ear that.
Odd that not even your own saves worked. Maybe you just had a bad install there...
I never finished this one, it got a bit boring after a while...

You mean the exe-file is corrupted?

No, i meant maybe you had a bad installation. A messed up file on the game folder or something like that. Unistalling and reinstalling usually takes care of bad installation issues, so if it was that hopefully the reinstall you did will have fixed it.

I'll replay and see if it's true. Game looks now alot less bugged since I also switched to 800X600.

Ok,i hope it works better for you this time around.
So, reinstalled and changed the whole config on 600X800. Now it works almost as fluid as Penumbra 8). I could even put all specs high without problems.
In fact, I just finished the game.
Awesome ending is awesome. Kinda surprised how well the game was, 1C was rather known for it's crappy shooters.
Good to know the reinstall fixed the issues you were having.
So, you're saying i should give it another try, eh ? I mean, awesome endings are kind of rare, that's usually when things tend to go terribly wrong ;)

Make all the specs down and give it a try. It's really worth it.

Ok, i'll give it another shot, i'll probably be able to find a bit of free time for it on the weekend.
