Didn't have the problem until recently with some games. When I start those games, something like this happens:

However, when I change the desktop resolution to something else other than the native one, the game displays correctly. So when my desktop resolution is at native, 1440x900, the game display goes crazy. If I lower my desktop resolution to something like 1360x768 then go back to the game, it's ok.
Anyone have this problem before?

Failing and/or overheating video card, maybe? I'm assuming you're using the latest available drivers.

1440x900 is 16:10, while 1360x768 is 16:9. Try another 16:10 resolution, such as 1280x800.

kalirion: 1440x900 is 16:10, while 1360x768 is 16:9. Try another 16:10 resolution, such as 1280x800.
My ingame resolution is my native 1440x900. if the desktop resolution is also 1440x900, displays goes crazy. If I change the desktop resolution to something else other than the native one, the game displays correctly, no idea why.

... That's the exact thing that started happening to me before my old video card imploded.
