I have yet to get the bloody thing to work. Always stuck with that updated "1" in the top right corner. Bloody annoying! :P

Gotta click on the updated game on your shelf. I'm finding now that the notification goes away much quicker than before.

Iv tried a lot of times haha. It takes atleast 3 days to bugger off.

Odd - worked really quickly for me yesterday and again this morning. I didn't get the update, just opened the game on the shelf. Maybe it was lucky timing.

I click on the game installer to see if it's new (I compared with my GOG archive) and cancel if not. After that the "update" notification goes away quickly. My only issue is that the update button only works in shelf mode and not in list mode but I haven't done even basic troubleshooting on the issue, its not worth the hassle to me right now..

It doesn't work very well, sometimes it takes a few minutes to go away and sometimes more.
And of course it'll pop back up occasionally.
It might have something to do with bad load-balancing code or something.. I don't know.

It used to work, but it stop working for me some weeks ago; I tried on Firefox, IE and even if I wait for half an hour nothing happen. I thought it was when you have "too many" games in your collection that it stops working.

It wouldn't be the first time something break when you start having more than X games, before it was the search function that wasn't working at all, they fixed it but not it's the "News and Updated" that is broken...

I don't think my one has worked for atleast a month.

Yeah, it's probably the same for me, don't remember exactly when it stopped working but it has been quite some time now.

It just sticks around for a few days. Just hanging out, like a fly.

I've had notifications sitting around for about a month >_<

I've had problems getting the filter to work in My Library in list view (see thread link below), but once I select a game that has the update flag, the notification been going away within 5-10 minutes here recently.
