Just say NO to Internet censorship!

Please stop censorship from happening

This could be our last chance to speak out against the TPP's extreme Internet censorship.

We can't fight the TPP's secret, lobbyist-influenced plan to limit online expression and creativity without your support.

Your donation powers our nimble team to protect global Internet freedom. Every bit counts, so please chip in today.

In less than a week nearly 100,000 people have signed on to our letter to world leaders participating in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations telling them not to ram through an Internet censorship plan at their meeting in Bali.
But now the big media lobbyists pushing Internet censorship are ramping up the pressure by calling on leaders to not “soften” amidst the public outcry.

Can you believe that?

We need your help to take the next step to expose the TPP’s Internet censorship plan before our leaders buckle under the pressure. Can you contribute now so we can defend your digital rights before it’s too late?

We know from leaked drafts2 that the TPP will make the Internet more expensive, censored, and policed. Its new copyright rules will change the way we use the Internet in our day-to-day lives forever.

We also know that President Obama is about to board a plane to Bali, Indonesia to meet with other heads of state to finalize this agreement.3 This could be one of our last opportunities to protect free expression online.

We need your help to take our campaign to the next level and amplify your voice. Any amount will help; are you able to pitch in today to make sure our leaders get the message?

With your support, we’ll be able to prove to world leaders just how unpopular these laws are and show them that, if they proceed with this Internet censorship plan, there will be a political price to pay.

We can stop the TPP’s extreme Internet censorship by standing together to send a clear message to world leaders. Your donations power our efforts to keep fighting against Internet censorship - we can’t keep up this pace without your help now.

Together, we are going stop the TPP’s Internet Censorship from stifling our digital future and knocking people off the Internet.

Thank you for being a part of this,

Steve and Jason, on behalf of your OpenMedia team

PS Together, there are hundreds of thousands of us; if each of us gave just $3, we’d be able to send a message that our political leaders can’t ignore.
A donation? How do I know this isn't just another scam, like the scumbags who were collecting money for cancer patient kids, except that they weren't?
Phew... for a while when I only read the title, I thought you wanted to stop my favorite Third Person Perspective in video games... :-)

My initial reaction as well.
I thought this was about TTP.

You know, The TTP Project.
A meeting in Bali. Those cocksuckers! The fucking economy is in the shitter and they flaunt a meeting in fucking Bali. All politicians must get kicked out of office this next election. I don't care what side of the house they sit on.

Sadly, I don't think any petition will stop this. There is only one thing to do, Long live the Revo...ooh look what's on TV.
