I believe their corporate page hasn't been updated for some time. Before they set up their "new" store, which is GOG's competitor, they'd allowed GOG to sell their previously-published games.

And they should probably continue to allow GOG to sell their products, and GamersGate for that matter, which currently also sells the Silmarils Collection.

At least they are being evenly unfair to everyone in this regard, unlike Valve and Direct2Drive.

Why? The currency used is completely irrelevant, as long as the price is the same for everyone.

The exchange rate for euro to yen is terrible compared to that for dollars to yen.

I fail to see why the exchange rate is an issue. Is the Euro worth more than the dollar? Yes. Does it matter? No. What matters is whether the price is too high, regardless of the currency.
Or to put it another way, it is completely irrelevant whether a game is priced at $10 or €7.50, as it's the same amount of money any way you cut it. Unless your bank for some weird reason charges you a fee for converting to Yen from Euros, but not from dollars.

It might not mean much to you, but there is a difference. For example, today's current rate:
10.00 USD = 938 JPY
7.50 EUR = 940 JPY
Yes, in that example it's only a difference of 2 yen. But that adds up when you accumulate a large number of purchases over a month or even a year. And I'd rather not waste even the smallest amount of money when I can get a better deal with a different currency. So yes, as far as I am concerned, it's completely relevant.

Maybe DotEmu can't match gog's catalog or community, but the fact that a new retrogaming site is being born should be enough for us to be happy.
I agree Nicky Boom isn't exactly an AAA game, but the Silmarils games are interesting enough to me: the 6 first games I purchased were Crystals of Arborea, Targhan, Colorado, Madshow, Boston Bomb Club and Metal Mutant, way back in 1991 (nostalgia tear rolling down my cheek, sniff...).
I hope they keep on growing, because it would be nice for us customers. The more retrogaming sites we get, the better.

In this case, though, Wishbone is right. Fluctuations in the currency rates doesn't matter at all, because there is no equivalent price in dollars. Any "losses" due to currency rates are purely hypothetical, because you don't know what they would have charged if they had listed the price in dollars instead.
