StingingVelvet: I tried Chrome for 2 days and promptly went back to Firefox.
I used mozilla for a few years, but had to dump it because the more updated it became, the more bloated it became. FYI, I shouldn't have to clean out my browser and tell it NOT to download plugins, it should ask me if I want to download them FIRST.
IE did the same thing to me, that's why I don't use it either.
Don't get me started on Pretentious.... sorry... Opera.
It used to be that browsers were about browsing the internet; and while I think tabbed browsing is about the best thing to come along since the cookie, that feature doesn't make up for the multitude of crap people are cramming into them.
I use chrome because, after about three minutes in the settings menu, it doesn't get in my way. I am a writer, a husband, a father, a college student and part time Computer Repair guy, I have enough complications.
When I find a browser that's faster, has less useless garbage and is still compatible with current web technology, Chrome goes bye, bye.
