Just a heads up: You may remember a contest between developers, which ended up with of Valve vs. Turbine, which Turbine won in a long, hard-fought battle. Well, it's back.
The first round is not underway yet, but CD Projekt has been matched up with Mythic, of Warhammer Online fame.
The first round thread for CD Projekt is here, and voting for Round One starts on the 17th and concludes the 19th.
You know what you have to do.

WAR was hugely disappointing so this should be a very easy decision.
Should be an easy win for CD Projekt.
I'm confused to how Turbine beat Valve...

Hammerfall: I'm confused to how Turbine beat Valve...

The D&D and LOTR fans went on every D&D and LOTR fansite and spammed them like crazy to drum up votes. Turbine also beat Relic in extremely contested circumstances. Basically a ton of Relic fans votes were discounted because Turbine voters had accused them of getting Warhammer fans to vote for them. The pot called the kettle black and the pot was the blackest thing on the shelf.

Voting is now open: the link is in the first post. And the Projekt is losing by about 160 votes.

So in other words it's just another bullshit meaningless poll that could only ever degenerate into a fight of the fanboys. So really we should be hoping that CD Projekt lose.
Is it just me, or is the Escapist very slow/completely down?
Had problems all evening here, still can't access it.
If people are spamming this "contest" then perhaps that accounts for it...
