Same here, although I might gift it to somebody in the future. It feels like gifting it right now just rewards sloth as pretty much everybody had the opportunity to get it for free. I'm not sure why anybody needs it right now.

Yes. The other person then clicks the "Redeem gift" link at the bottom of this page, enters the code on the page that comes up, and voilà.
