.. An old favorite of mine, and unknown for many. It's a good post-apocalyptic game, and i think this game has been a big inspiration to the awesome Fallout series, together with Wasteland. This game even has a multiplayer option (Hotseat) ;)
The game also has a fansite. They have even made a remake wich runs on XP, Vista and Windows 7. You can download the original and the remake here with the manual. GoG should get this game in their free game section :)
Go check it out! Hope you like it.

hey...
gog has ads on mobygames... awesome.
That -looks- awesome. I'm just gonna go ahead and try it. Thanks :-)
Cool stuff, thanks for the recommendation! Gonna try it too.
I've had this game for awhile.
Thanks for reminding me to play it.
Hey, awsome, I didn't know that anyone else played this game.
So, here's the scope: I found this game a few years back on an obscure abandonware site. I could find it elsewhere, but it was dug so deep that few sites put it on display, if you know what I mean. Well, anyway, sceptical as I was, I tried it, and boy, was I surprised! At the beginning, if you don't have a clear and straightforward goal, you are mincemeat in minutes. First of, you must eat and drink on a regular basis. A few days for food and even less for water, if you go without for more than that and you beging to starve and loose health. Getting food and water is no easy task - you must fight for it. To attack, you must click on na opponent multiple times, and each click is a hit, but the trick here is to hit the enemy in what boils down to a frantic and inaccurate fight, one of the biggest flaws in the game. But when you get the feeling for it, you can manage.
When you can, you must recruit mercenaries. There are three tipes: a fighter, medic and a "mechanic". Fighters fight, medics heal, but the real treasures are the mechanics, which can make valuable things out of scratch. If they make a rat trap, then your men can catch rats in your captured territory, and so eat something more filling than bugs or nothing. Each territory you capture has a certain "value", as not all have an abundance of wather and food, and the really good ones are used as your "farms", where you get all the important food supplies that you can trade in towns, who are neutral (non capturable).
Now, the game sounds really good to you, doesn't it? Well, it might be rewarding, but it's also very difficult. You must feed yourself and all your men, and so if they are stationed somewhere, they must forage to survive. Each man has only six slots to carry stuff, and if you have two pieces of meat, one bottle of water and a knife, you only have only two slots left. On top of that, you must compete for territories with three other leaders, and they will do everything to stop you. You can't kill them yourself, but must make them starve out on some godforsaken land or if they die in a fight with your positioned men. Oh yes, one more thing. There are zombies all over the place. Have fun.

Wow! Now, that one i did not know! You've mentioned Wages Of War in a previous post. I remember reading a lot about it, but some feats didn't fit my "JA is GOD" profile. ;P
We've got ourselves a real life GOG MINER!:)
I'll check that one out, thanks a bunch!:D
thanks alot for that link...ohh i remember the good old days when i and my brother played that game together.....
Nice little review of Burntime Titanium. As you said, the game has a tough learning curve, but man is it rewarding when you get the hang of it.
As i said in my Wages of War post, i'm on a retro roll, and i'm going through all of my old favorites, so i will keep posting good old games as i progress :) Glad you guys like it. These games deserves all the attention they can get, and there is no better place to do it then GOG.com . This site has given me so much, and i will do what i can to give something back.
A really good post-apocalyptic game is also "Metal Max Returns" for the Snes.
Unfortunately it was only released on Jp and the English hacks are mostly fail. So I doubt any of you know of it's existence.
I know Metal Max Returns and had no problems with the language hack from Mr. Gideon Zhi as of November 2007.
