Watch the video, it's gold.
Did Mr. Boll write the KS page himself? ;)
I mean the explanation for where the money goes is just gold.

I've heard chicks fart better lol. Just give me 500k and I'll spend it on hookers and blow, right, I think not. I'll pass, thank you very much.

LOL. Almost worth a buck just for the chuckle.
now this will start with a kick
I knew you posted Uwe's project :D.
Is...this...seriously happening?! :D
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahahahaha!
His ramblings are gold, he should release those on DVD, they'd sell better than his game rapes.
So, his seemingly infinitive stash of gold has finally run out. Though given that every new in the Name of the King (Dungeon Siege) movie seems to have smaller and smaller budget, I think this was unavoidable.

He used to take advantage of a German law which gave him back his movie budget if it was loss making. I have heard the law has been recently cancelled. That'd explain his Kickstarter thingie.
Okay, his pitch is kind of funny. And admittedly, the trashiness of Uwe Boll's movies can be entertaining. But before you pledge you should be aware of a couple of things.

Uwe Boll abused German tax laws to finance his pre-2005 movies, allowing him to make massively unprofitable movies (multimillion dollar losses) at the taxpayers' expense:

Uwe Boll's film company demanded large fines ($1,500 - $2,500) from thousands of alleged filesharers, threatening them with lawsuits if they didn't pay up:

It... is... beautiful...

Absolutly worth it, no regrets.

Lol uuummm ok i guess. Ill give him $50 not to direct another movie again
I do remember reading about that German tax thing, there was a lot of discussion about it and some people even said Uwe was one of the few people who acutally used it as it was intented by doing some of the movie related work in Germany.

But that said, I doub't this will float, despite he does have some rabid fans. The latest movie I've seen from him was Farcry and that was just boring. Not bad enough to be funny, but bad enough to be just bad.
