It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I just purchased GK2 about 20 minutes ago and I mean I've tried everything to get the installer to work. I tried intalling from browser and it immediatly crashes saying the files are corrupted and please try again. I tried the GOG downloader and I cant contact the server to download it. I restarted my comp and still no success. I"m running windows 7 so that might be an issue. The thing is I've downloaded like 3 other games off this site including phantasmagoria 2 (another fmv game) and that worked fine.
Does anyone have any advice. I paid 6 bucks for this game and am a little peeved.

First of all, since you have an issue with a specific game, you should post the question in the forum for that game, not here in the general forum.
Secondly, what do you mean by "install from browser"? Do you open the file directly, rather than downloading it to your machine first and then launching it from there?
I only ever had a corrupt download once. I deleted the file, downloaded it again, and then it worked without a hitch. Which browser are you using?
You need to download the .exe and the 2 .bin files otherwise the installer won't run. Download all 3 files to the same folder and then run the installer.

I guess i need to rephrase the problem. its not the actual install. I cant download the files at all, it says they're corrupted. I have two options when downloading it, from browser, which are 3 differant files or from the gog downloader.
And to wishbone, this question is also in the GK forums but nobody responded to it so I posted it here.

If you're having problems using the downloader, use the browser.
Click on "download using browser (1 of3)" and then click on 'Save' to save the file on your PC. Do the same for the other two files and place all 3 on the same folder.
I just downloaded the first file and it downloaded fine...
Are you ckicking on 'Run' instead of 'Save' by any chance ?

Yeah i was using run but I also tried save and that didnt worth either. Files were still corrupted when I double clicked them.
Sounds like all you need to do is right click the setup.exe and click "Run as an administrator".

Im going to try to save each file seperatly then run as administrator. I'll let you know if that works.

Clean the browsers cache and then re-download, or better yet use another browser to re-download.

Just to be clear, which files are you double clicking ? The only file you have to double click is the .exe file, and that's only after you've downloaded (Saved) all 3 files. No point in double clicking the .bin files and no point in double clicking the .exe unless you have all 3 files in the same folder.
Also, make sure your AV and/or Firewall aren't getting in the way. You might also want to try downloading the files with a different browser.

I got it to work. I just had to save each file seperatly to a folder then start the installation process. Its in 3 parts so I wasnt used to that sort of download. thanks to all that gave input.
