Just bought this game on Steam for only 8.99EUR. It was worth it! The main objective is to eliminate your opponent by taking over planets with ships (which are triangle-shaped). The main thing is that the matches can last about 2:00 min. depending on the difficulty level, which makes it excellent when you want a quick match against the opponent.

It's available now for 2€, as part of Steam's Indie Games Midweek Madness.
And Eufloria looks much better.

Yeah what's the deal with that? It looks (well, the gameplay) very similar. Is it?
Yep, they look pretty similar.
But in fact, the first Galcon (not fusion, the old one) came first. But still, Eufloria is much more slow paced than Galcon, and way more relaxing. Galcon seems to offer more things and it's much more frantic than Eufloria.

I'Ve only played demos of both and they are really similar but:
1) Eufloria is slower and more tactical. You must choose your targets carefully + I really liked its style of graphics.
2) GF is more faster and easier. You can win really fast if you know how to do it.
Eufloria is better (in my eyes), but both games have demos, so try it.

Yep, just saw it today. I'm probably going to get Gridrunner Revolution, Space Giraffe, Super Laser Racer and Bullet Candy.
Just bought the whole indie pack.
Galcon Fusion - higher dificulty make it much more enjoyable. + Multiplayer. But eufloria is still better in my opinion.
Other games are quite good, except for giraffe - awful, awful thing - and Super laser racer - because i don't like racing games.
