I always see people 'trading' games from Steam on the forums, but I'll be the first to admit that I have no idea how this system works. I actually have about a half dozen games on Steam that I am willing to give away to anyone who wants them, but I have no idea how I would do such a thing. Can someone fill me in on the process?

They need to have been bought as gifts, just like in GOG, or otherwise be an inventory item. Or be just keys from somewhere. If you're thinking about trading games in your library, forget about it.
