With Star Wars: The Phantom Menace coming out in 3D to theaters next year, it's hard not to imagine executives at Disney going Ah-HA!

One good thing about this: the 3D re-release will also bring a re-release on BluRay, in both 2D and 3D. I'll finally be able to get this movie on disc.

I've never understood Disney's policy of "false shortage" when it comes to their cartoon classics. Release the damn things! And when they run out, print some more!

Because Disney knows if they pull that they'll sell 10 million copies when they release something from the vault. Just look at the newest Beauty and the Beast release.

Disney has been the driving force behind all this "oh my fuccking god, it's in 3D!!!!!" shit, so I am not at all surprised.

probably the only reason they remade Lionking in 3D vs Snow White is due to them having better access to Lionking's production material.

besides, fuck Simba! I wanna see a celebrity deathmatch where Kimba beats his ass and pees in his face.

I rather liked watching that last one.

As for Disney, they were ruined long before the Lion King even showed up. Just look at all that crap from the 80s. They tend to have a resurgence from time to time. But most of it is forgettable crap.
