I have a large quantity of the games listed on this site already however I would really like the ability to download some of the bonus content for them. I was thinking that they could tie in the reputation feature with the ability to download features from games.
Does anyone else think this is a good idea or would like a similar feature?

No. Why? Because people lie, and the bonus shinies are a large part of the incentive to buy from GoG.
Meh, the rep system is useless. It's basically just a "how active are you?" rating, sort of like post counts. Except it doesn't directly tie to post counts, so it's even more useless.

@Gundato
Well they can't get the game itself just the extras, unless your saying that people would buy a game from GOG just for just the extras in which case *shrug* fair enough.
@TheCheese33
I thought rep was connected with things like posting reviews and answering questions. Essentially doing good deeds for the community.

You might already got some of the extras.
You might have bought a normal or budget version while the extras were only made available in the deluxe version.
Such things are hard to check.
If you were entitled to them at 1 point, you could have either downloaded them or they were included.
You want the extras from GOG, buy the game at GOG.
You can than decide what to download from your purchase.
I'm not sure you get points for reviews.
You get 1 point for your 1st post of the day and for people positively rating your posts.
You lose points for negative ratings.

Not me, but plenty of people do buy the games again just for the extras or because they say they'd rather have a digital copy so they don't have to mess with the discs.

Rep is connected to such things, but since no one here really cares about rep, making it the kind of thing that you get rewarded for would be really bad in the long run. It would only lead to outright abuse of the rep system.
As for getting the GOG extras for games you already own, let me put it this way: I bought a car from the dealership down the street a few years ago, but the one in the next town over is now offering the same car with a better stereo. Do you think if I walked into that dealership and said "I already own this car, but I'd like a better stereo. If I'm really nice, would you give me that stereo for free?" they wouldn't laugh in my face before having me forcibly removed from the premises? The extra "goodies" on GOG games are one of the minor selling points of the games. Giving that stuff away for free to anyone takes away from that extra "value added". If you want them that badly, buy the game again, its not like it is going to cost you much.
If/when you get to have your own page on GOG that's viewable to others, I hope they include the ability to list the games you've bought elsewhere. But no, I don't see how what you're suggesting would be permissible. Especially given that some might consider getting a second copy of the game because of the bonuses.
You all raise a pretty fair point, I honestly didn't think many people would buy the games again just for the bonus content. That being the case I understand how they would not give them away for free. I also thought the rep needed more effort to build up than it appears to, in my mind people had to pay money for games or put time into writing good reviews and answering questions to get a high rep, though I can see how it could easily be "farmed".
Thanks for the constructive answers.
Oh yea @Cogadh, your anology isn't entirely corect, you can buy a new stereo for your car, you don't need to buy the entire car again. Regardless I do get the point.
This gives me an idea for a new topic.

You wouldn't buy a game with a soundtrack, that's sold elsewhere for a small fortune, just for the soundtrack? It's 9 bugs top, not something that would ruin a person... Point being, I actually think lots of people are re-buying games for extras.
