ok tried to gift a friend a game and it wouldnt let me, seems to not like the email address which ends in .googlemail.com. any ideas?

You mean gmail.com?

no apparently thers also an extension called .googlemail.com

Go to My account - My Games - Gifts, and you'll see the code there.

I'm thinking then it should be @googlemail.com

Or, yeah, you can just gift yourself the code and then send it to him manually.

yeah i did put @googlemail.com lol and yeah there is no gifts because it wont let me pay!

just tried it, it works fine for me in that it redirects me to paypal. At what point does it prevent you, and what does it say.

When I was doing the gifting over the weekend was sending them to my googlemail.com account and had no issues whatsoever

my email is <username>@googlemail.com

Then just put in the gift text box the name of the game, gone though payment and sorted.

when I attempt to click on the submit payment an orange circle appears round the email box and then doesn't do anything!

Does the email address have any special characters in it, or some extra domains such as person.place@googlemail.com, or person/1@googlemail.com? If you want to PM me the email address I'll see what's broken.
