The quoting system is a mess. The only way to make sure it works properly is to take care of the code manually.
Editing a post with a "pyramid" will cause the whole quote to fall apart.
But I think that this shouldn't be a separate thread, since there is Features Wishlist thread (and feedback should be done through "Contact us" option).
Besides, I think that in 10 days at least some of these problems will be addressed (you know - the conference ;)). While I think that they will focus on new publisher, it would still be a good time for forum update (which was promised for the end of March by the way).
lackoo1111: game wishlist: = chaos
BoxOfSnoo: Yup. Kinda pointless as it stands. It's a mess of misspelled, multiple entries and "Stop requesting x item because blah" posts.
Why not make it a forum? Each vote would bump the topic anyway.
There has been a discussion about it not long ago. I will restate my opinion: The wishlist may be a mess, but it's GOG team's job to extract information out of it. This mess doesn't really affect users - just vote for the "proper" entry and move along.
Summing together votes from "Dungeon Keeper", "dungon keper" and "Dungeon Keeper series", then subtracting multiple votes from users that voted for all entries is still much easier than doing it in the forum.
If it was a forum - then instead of multiple entries on the wishlist, we would have multiple threads named: "Dungeon Keeper", "dungon keper" and "Dungeon Keeper series". And instead of votes you would have replies. Some of these replies would be actual votes, while others would be part of the discussion about the said series, or arguments that this game is available elsewhere, or arguments why it shouldn't appear here or off-topic posts.
In this case - I sure wouldn't like to be the person responsible for answering the question "How many people here are interested in Dungeon Keeper".
