It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hey there

As of yesterday (Wednesday), when I turned on my computer, I found the GOG site is suddenly all messed up (see images).

The forum part seems fine - it's just the main site that appears to be affected. And no other site has changed.
I haven't changed any settings, so I don't know why it's suddenly like this.

Has anyone else found the same?

Suggestions?

I have seen something very similar on Internet Explorer 7. Have you tried other browsers?

I use IE9, and it's been fine until yesterday.

But I just tried Chrome just now, and it looks fine, just like IE did.

So why does it suddenly look messed up in IE9? No other sites are affected, only GOG?

Maybe something funny is going on with their main page. Maybe you could try resetting Internet Explorer and see if the issue persists?

What's your internet connection like? Maybe because of the sale, it's just taking a while to load everything?
Internet explorer has this pesky button called compatibility view. You can find it next to reload button on the right side of the address bar. It it turned on by any chance?

Ah, that was it! Such a simple solution *hits head on desk*

I must have hit that, instead of Refresh, at some point, by mistake.

GOG is looking all fine again, thankyou very much. ( :

EDIT: Thanks Gragar and Getcomposted for trying to help. ( :

Microsoft should really disable compatibility view whenever there's an HTML5 doctype. That's basically a guarantee that the page wasn't designed for an ancient IE version.
