So what were the prizes? Each winner got to choose any $9.99 GOG? (Except the first three who could pick two?) Or a random D&D code?
#3 plays both in Icewind dale 2 and Heart of Winter , so I think both answers are correct! ;)

Yeah is a 9,99 coupon, not specific to any game. Is not usable on games in sale that were more than that price.
Hey, you don't happen to be the same Neurological who many years ago made a Blood remix that was around OCRWip at least? Liked that track.
This was a good contest. My love of video game music finally payed off. Took a while to seperate the songs into individual games since they can so easily fit into each other but I did it in the end. I found the name of each song for every game except IWD2. If anyone is wondering they are:
1. Neverwinter Nights - Wandering across the country side.
2. Temple of Elemental Evil - credits
3. Icewind Dale 2 -
4. Baldur's Gate - The Gibberling Horde
5. Planescape Torment - Curst Battle
6. Baldur's Gate 2 - The Domain of the Dragon
7. Icewind Dale - Drow & Orog gate.

Yep its me :).
Had not read the complete mail I received. I was already (too) ecstatic winning a game code...

I re-read it during my lunch break, and I realize I was one of the first 3 to get the right answers, and won 2 game codes!!!

Best contest!!! Thanks GOG!!!
Boy, I wish they would have made this stand out somehow. I tend to avoid looking at Stickies because they're usually concerned with rules and technical stuff; I never even noticed it sitting there at the top of the page. :-(

(In my opinion, yet another reason for them to add a bit more formatting and organization to how things are presented)

Isriddari: I found the name of each song for every game except IWD2.
It is called "dragon battle" and it plays during final confrontation with Icasaracht.

Thank you very much GoG for the gift and I'll be waiting for your next contest!

Good to know.

KyleKatarn: I'm the same. Is there an explanation for it? Maybe blips take up less space in my brain or something.

Arteveld: For me, it's because it sounded so, hm, generic and bland. Maybe it's because i'm not that much a soundtrack man and the only one that stuck out for me was number 6, because of those low trombones [probably not trombones, aren't they?]. With midis, sids and mods, music was made to stand out a bit more i guess, today 'epicness' is enough.
I like your explanation. It seems to fit how I feel about the epicness.

I've played all of these games, hundreds of hours put into them (although most of them not recently) and they still didn't ring a bell for me :( They all sounded vaguely familiar (I was pretty sure about the ToEE track) but I didn't even feel like listening to the soundtracks to see if I could guess them. That's just my taste though I guess.

Good contest anyway!
