I am having some troubles with quotes actually, something up with this forum software. They give me a few different kind of quotes in the windows and I don't know which is which. Sometimes it tells me the message I am quoting doesn't exist.

Don't worry, he is just complaining for no apparent reason.
The quote system is pretty much messed up for everyone. Edit a post after quoting and it gets even more messed up. So don't worry about it.
In fact, manually removing quotes seems to be what causes the various quote-related problems. Of course, no removing quotes tends to lead to really hard to read posts :p

It's the fact that your forum account is tied to your general account that makes people watch what they say some more. There's more of a sense of accountability. On other forums I could register multiple accounts and piss everyone off just for the kicks.
That said, although it's lightyears beyond many communities on the Internet, sorry, but some threads generate their fair share of douchey comments and petty jokes/insults. Honestly though, that's what you inevitably get when you gather a bunch of young guys anywhere.
As I grow older I admit that I'm getting increasingly annoyed by male chest thumping on the Internet, and that's why I browse it far less.

It wasn't me ....someone hacked my account...or maybe a GOG staff member did it (OK the last one is definitely not true ....only because I don't want GOG staffers getting in trouble..)
