Have you voted for winners of Golden Joystick Awards 2013?

Among Best Platform candidates is also GOG and you will receive a game (with DRM) as a reward for voting.
Voted for gog a while back hope they win.
Awesome. I keep my fingers for GOG too :).
Love the first question "best newcomer" with the text talking about these like they're brand new IP's with original ideas.

DC superhero fighting game (not original or a new IP)

zombies, zombies, zombies, zombies, zombies (not original) among them the walking dead (not a new IP)

shooter based on EVE online (not a new IP)

A Forza spinoff (not original and not a new IP)

so we're down from 12 to 4 that should even fit that category.
In an industry often criticised for a lack of courage when it comes to launching new IPs, these champions have proven the sceptics dead wrong.
To me, that list of games proves "sceptics" to be dead right.

You should have seen 2012 choices. Not a single one I would vote for and yet the year introduced me to many interesting new IPs. Frankly, I consider GJA to be about best selling AAA games with a couple of hipster choices added into the mix, not an attempt at fair and wide competition.

That's also why I cast my vote if I see a thing I believe deserve the recognition.
Well, tried to post my votes, unfortunately it seems their site is very ill equipped to deal with people going on it and voting, i'm just getting error page after error page.

No free game for me!
I succeeded in voting last night, requested Civ5, checked my e-mail this morning for the code, and was congratulated for requesting Mafia 2. Oh well, can't complain about free stuff, right?
First i couldnt even vote, and now the site is still darn slow.
Did I win ?
