Hey!

Ive bought Fallout 2 and Sanitarium during the special offers.

But both games have horrible video sequences. No correct colors, just epileptically color changes.

In game its ok, but not perfect.

How can I fix it?

Bought Fallout 2? Is it back on sale here again?

You could try to make a batch file to run the game and taskkill explorer.exe.

Something along the lines of:

taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe
Fallout2.exe
Start explorer.exe

That worked for me with Outlaws.

For Sanitarium, to get rid of the "rainbow colors" glitch.

I right-clicked the Sanitarium shorcut icon from my Desktop, Properties and under the Compatibility Tab I checked "Run this program in compatibility mode for": Windows 95.
I also checked "Run this program as an administrator".

Using Alt + Tab worked for me.
Have you checked the Sanitarium subforum? It's not an unknown problem, so there are a couple of suggestions on how to get rid of glitches.

Edit: Oh, and I also had the game running in compatibility mode, like GabiMoro recommended...
