amok: And I honestly do not think that such a segment is large enough to be cost efficient. Maybe if they started buying bundles for more than the minimal cost? But from what I see in this forum, those people are few and far between.
.
Niggles: No way for you to know how large or small that segment is. If dev's choose to ignore it, thats their choice. But at price of losing potential money if they ignore it. As i said there is no way to guage that segment size.
Your making a strong assumption there.
Indeed I do, based on all the people complaining in these threads that a $5 bundle is too expensive. I see that quite a lot around here.
And I also base it on how many steam users there actually are, and how many gamers that just don't care about DRM. (which again relates to how many Steam, Origin, UPlay, etc users there are). I would make the hypothesis that most gamers are like me, store and DRM agnostic as long as it works, and care a lot more about just playing the games. There are a few Steam fanatics and anti-Steam fanatics, but with like most fanatics - they are in a minority.
We have been here before. Prove me wrong, and I will reconsider.
