Right unfortunately i can only describe things from childhood memories so i won't have much information to give.
From what i remember it could have been a first person adventure similar to the stylings of Myst and so forth.
Whether it was based on going through different time periods i dont knwo but i slightly remember it being in like roman or greek times and i slightly remember a kiln being part of a puzzle or something.
That's all i can remember at the moment :( i hope someone has the answer.
A part of the "Journeyman Project" series?

Aha! i think it's the 3rd game im thinking of :D cheers dude!
Sounds like you already figured it out but just to verify, it is definitely the third game in the series.
Just hijacking this thread slightly, since the game has already been identified, but The Journeyman Project made me think of another game in the same vein that I played long ago: Drowned God. Has anybody else played this, and what did you think of it?
Personally, I thought some of the plotline was extremely farfetched, mixing together conspiracy theories from all of history, but the mood of the game was fantastic. It also contained a few cheap but very very effective shocks.
