It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I started this thread as yesterday ZFR wanted to post cryptical information in this thread http://www.gog.com/forum/general/esoteric_challenge_giveaway and it was getting obscured.

After doing some research I came across this link: http://www.utexas.edu/learn/html/spchar.html and http://www.w3schools.com/charsets/ref_utf_basic_latin.asp

It tells you nicely what you have to use to get a proper result here on GOG.

For example:

»»»»»»»» That works !!!! ««««««««

To use the table, just use the column called HTML Entity, GOG in the moment is using UTF-8

Feeld free to add more information, I will try to update on a regular basis.

One thing I came across: getting quotes working best (manual) if you DO remove extra spaces before the quote:

Correct:

$#81;quote_XX$#83;YOUR TEXT HERE$#81;$#47;quote$#83;

False:

$#81;quote_XX$#83; YOUR TEXT HERE$#81$;#47;quote$#83;

ok last part doesn't work in the moment ;) Working on

OK, that is now funny, the browser already translates a few of those things, don't expect verything to work as my example above is in the moment a good example that it doesn't work ;)
